Ronald M. Katz, SPHR is the president of Penguin Human Resource Consulting, LLC. He has extensive experience in the areas of Human Resources, Coaching and Management Development. Ron was an adjunct instructor at the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations for two decades. He was also on the faculty with the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies and the Mercy College Graduate Program in Human Resource Management, where he also served as a member of their Advisory Board. Ron recently served as the Director of Learning & Development for Societe Generale in New York City. In addition, Ron spent eleven years at JPMorganChase, most recently as Vice President in Employee Relations Training.

Ron has provided consulting in the areas of performance management, interviewing skills, diversity, sexual harassment and disability awareness for a number of clients including some of the largest financial institutions in Europe, Japan and North America. He has reviewed and modified human resource and management systems and delivered training to the human resource staff and line managers of a wide variety of organizations.

Ron is the author of "Someone's Gonna Get Hired...It Might As Well Be You!", PHRC publishers. He has contributed articles on management, interviewing, staffing and retention strategy to HR Magazine, Workforce magazine and Talent Management magazine. He is a dynamic public speaker and has spoken nationally at conferences on Human Resource and Management issues. His inspirational presentation style has proven effective with seasoned professionals as well as newcomers to the field.

Ron holds a B.A. degree from Binghamton University. His graduate degree is the Diploma in Human Resource Management from New York University. He's donated pro bono services to numerous charitable endeavors including Habitat for Humanity and the Westchester Networking Organization.
